He's suitably hideous, but is really justa misunderstood guy (why not put him in a Beauty and The Beast Role - obviously which role he has is up to you).

Almost passed because it's not the kind of stuff I do, but for $2.09, I think it would make a great "collectable figure" if scaled down and placed on a desk or shelf. Always looking for more and varied decorative elements for scenes, and this should work for a couple different projects in mind.

Kinda think the inspiration came from American Horror Story, Season 9, the Camp season.  Not one of my favorite seasons.

I don't do much horror type renders, so I would appreciate if someone could post a render of this character only dialled about 30% or so, so that he still looks human.

He might make an interesting looking thug type character, the sort of guys that are often seen lurking behind the main baddie.

Of course I would not normally want a character to just use a low percentage of the morph, but for two bucks that is not a major outlay.

I attached 2 pictures of just quick and dirty. The first is simply reducing his morph to 33%. The second one I set his morph to 55% and used Floyd textures instead just to see what a more human version would look like.

Thanks a lot for that. I actually think the second one looks good, although I would likely reduce the body percentage a bit more than 55% to reduce those very long arms, and strange looking shoulders.

Still very much the type of character I had in mind, still human, but not someone you would want to meet in a dark alley at night.

Thanks very much for the renders.

So did the price just glitch on this figure? Seems like it was cheaper, and now it is more expensvie.

I agree. The arms are very exaggerated and don't fit most standard poses, but I didn't want to tweak this too far from the original design or risk losing all the character. The face lost some defining shape at lower percentages, so I was more trying to give more of an idea of what it looks like with a more standard texture while keeping the morph.

Working for me at least - same price as this morning. Be sure you have a new release (other than today's releases) in your cart, and try refreshing your cart if still not correct.

Looking at the available files, then unfortunately it does not seem to have a separate head and body morph, although I could use this https://www.daz3d.com/shape-splitter to get round that issue.

With the right morph packs reducing the arm length and slightly changing the barrel chest can be done without having to reduce the morph % of the figure itself.

I ended up buying the character; one of the few male i have. I don't need much variation, but this one just begs to be used for something...

Thanks for the nightmares, Josh. X_X

Also, all I could think of was The Horror at Camp Jellyjam (Goosebumps) x_x The smile always unnerved me as a kid...

  • I didn't see that extra discount if you buy another new release till read that here easy to miss this things when they have stuff written all over the sales pages. Actually got a good theme of products out of this with him picked up that drive in fromthe other day, and on the old products grabbed furniture for a cabin that reminds me of the one in Evil Dead franchise, and old shed and an old falling apart barn plus got that got bundles purple banner with extra 20% off seems to have more than one use

The idea behind this guy is inbred rampage killer, thus the crazy proportions ;)

I love Your figures, Josh, but could you slow down on the arm length a wee bit? And maybe make the arms a bit less skinny, too? Not for this one, but for future ones... 'cause it seems that You maybe have a little bit of an "skinny long arms to scratch your kneecap without bending" fetish devil

I had the same thought, @tj_1ca9500b. As was discussed earler, I love these extreme shapes as they often yield great results with tons of character when dialed in part way. IIRC, he was dialed in about half way here when I rendered him:

The exaggerated laugh/worry lines work really well for NPR, and the textures for his eyes and teeth really add a lot, too.

Obviously a beauty and the beast scenario; or he's rich, that's always possible too - as well as being impressive in other areas.
