Transfer utility problems

I have been googling around a bit, having problems using the transfer utility to convert a v4 clothing to genesis 2 female. If I am understanding all the tutorials I have found so far correctly, the process is to load in genesis 2 female, dial up v4 morph, then load in the clothes without autofitting them. Then in the tool popup box, select g2f for the for the scene item target, use v4 clone. Then on the right select the clothing you wish to convert.

Problem is, the only thing that shows as available for convert is genesis 2. I assume I must be missing something, or maybe the transfer utility has changed. Using studio version 4.6.3.52 if that makes any difference. Also the clothing I am trying to convert is http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/hustl-r-v4-a4-g4-elite/80919 which loads through a CR2 file.

Genesis 2 Female does not come with a Victoria 4 clone. You could convert this way from Victoria 4 to Genesis 1, then from Genesis 1 to Genesis 2 Female, or you could get the Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female (which has an AutoFit clone, I haven't checked to see if Transfer Utility is also supported and can't check at the moment)

I must have done something stupid before. I tried autofit, the initial fitting worked, was following morphed bodies then I saved to library. I loaded the new saved versions and put them on g2f, but it wasn't following the morphed bodies anymore, which is why I was trying the transfer tool method.

Seems to be working now, so either was some kind of user error, or restarting studio fixed the glitch. Still can't figure out why the clothes won't show up in the drop down menu on the transfer tool, but oh well, autofitting seems to be doing the trick for now, at least on this one clothing set so far. Only like a million clothes left to convert now, this is going to take like a year lol.

you don't need to you the transfer utility, as the clothing should work via Auto Fit,

Make sure the Genesis 2 Female is selected in the Scene Tab,
Load the HUSTL-R Bra and the Auto Fit window should appear, in the Top Pull Down Menu select VICTORIA 4 and in the Bottom Pull Down Menu select SHIRT and click Accept.
Next do the same with the HUSTL-R Pty but this time in the Auto Fit select VICTORIA 4 in the top selection and PANTS in the bottom selection.

I've included 2 screenshots, 1 of a Genesis 2 Female wearing the HUSTL-R Outfit and 1 of the Auto Fit Window

Hope this is of some help

Thanks seems to be working. Now another quick question if I may, about the texture addons. I tried just adding a copy to the folder I saved the outfit to, but it seems studio won't read the Mat poses if in the studio directory. Am I right in assuming I must manually inject the textures from my poser folder, then save each one by one as material presets to use the materials natively in studio?

The material files should be in Runtime/Materials/HUSTL-R and the texture files should be in
    Runtime/Textures/nirvy/hustlr

you should then be able to load the textures as normal by going to your Content Library - Poser Formats - (you poser library here) - Materials - HUSTL-R

for example - mine is Content Library - Poser Formats - My DAZ 3D Library - Materials - HUSTL-R (see screenshot)

You may also need to tweak the surfaces settings - Lighting Model from Plastic to Matte

Also here is a link that will tell you how to convert .mc6 poser files to .pz2 which are more compatible with daz studio,

Again I hope this is of some help.
