Spherical HDR from DS

Is there a Camera setting, script, or some other technique where just the Enviro lighting of a scene could be rendered out to a proper spherical HDR format? This for when a Sun/Sky type set up is used.

The camera lens distortion type would have to be set to Spherical.
The next part is hidden under the advanced tab within your Render Settings. It has a tab within called Canvases, tick the checkbox for Canvases, and add a canvas with the plus sign. The beauty canvas creates a full HDR image of your render, but I'm not entirely sure what the other tabs do. Sickleyield did make a very nice video on some of the canvas features though (I should really watch it again sometime myself to refresh memory).
But, already just using a spherical lens and the beauty canvas, you can make your own HDRIs, which can be very useful when you have a complex environment that you intend to often reuse with the same lighting and from the same camera position. These two threads should be helpful with that process:

Ah, there it is.
I've alreasy saved off Sickleyield's tut on Canvases.
What I'm trying to do is match lighting in a different program. Using the same HDR works great but I don't have any means of matching the Daz Sun-Sky so thought i'd give this a try.
Thanks.
