Parented items make Posing impossible

After parenting an item to a genesis figure, poses doesn't work any more like they should.
Especially arms stay like they are and ignore the new applied pose completely.
At first i thought this would only happen, if i parent long hair to the head of a genesis figure (picture below), but now the same happens with swords and anything else (request a picture if needed).
Sometimes it works like it should, but the more items i parent to a figure the more problems occur.
Is there any way to deactivate collision detection with parented items if i apply a new pose?
Cause this is a real pain in the ass.
I don't want to use the "Fit To" tool with swords. And i don't want to unparent and reparent any item of a figure.

What do you have the Parenting Options set too? I do not see this and I use many long hairs and Parented Props in my work. Do you have this setting Turned on?
"Parent items in Place" is checked, unchecking it doesn't solve the problem.
After experimenting a little bit, i found the following:
1. The problem occurs every time i parent the "Pure Hair Catwalk" to a genesis figures head.
2. Other items seem to work most of the time.
3. The problem occurs every time i parent a "genesis 2" head to a "genesis 1" body.
If i apply a new pose to the "genesis 1" (case 3) something very strange happens.
The legs of the genesis 1 figure are posed correctly like they should. But instead of posing the arms of the "genesis 1" figure to which i applied the new pose, the arms of the "genesis 2" figure gets posed (which wasn't selected).
This is definitely a bug.
The picture shows genesis 2 parented to a genesis 1 figure. The applied pose changes the genesis 1 lower body and head but the the arms of the genesis 2 figure. Very strange.
What version of DS4.6 are you using? I seem to recall this bug was fixed.
I use Version 4.6.1.39 Pro Edition (64-Bit)
That's pretty old -- I didn't think Genesis 2 Materials work in that version. You could try updating (current version is 4.6.3.52) or installing the beta (4.6.3.49) to see if it's fixed, or you can go through the Change Logs to see if it mentions this bug being fixed:

Thank you. I will update my version and test it again.
Problem solved.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
It was a bug in my older daz version, now with 4.6.3.52 everything is fine.
Ah. I keep my program up to date so had fully missed that error it seems. I guess I got lucky. Glad you are now working properly as well.
