G3Male --> G8Male conversion via Character Converter: Gianni 7 won't convert. Thoughts on why?
Friends,
I've come to the point where for some purposes I need Genesis 8 characters more than Genesis 3 ones, and so I've started the process of converting some of them. I picked up a copy of Character Converter from G3 Male to G8 Male and used it, with fair success, on the Leo 7 figure (and its HD version) that I use for a character in concept and ad art for one of my novel series.
But when I run the same process on the Gianni 7 figure, I get... nothin'. I've tried running the scripts with almost every pertinent/available option turned both on and off, and still nothin'. :) As an experiment I loaded a plain-vanilla G8M figure and tried using the Actor sliders to add G7 characteristics to the G8 figure. This works well enough for the Leo 7 figure, but not at all for the Gianni 7 head / body morphs, which appear to be grayed out (the icon color's pale anyway, and though the sliders move, nothing happens to the figure).
I guess what I want to know is: how come? I'm not averse to picking up the XTransfer asset to try to deal with this (in fact I'm about to, it's on sale today...) but I'd be interested to know, if only for future reference, what's causing this problem. While rummaging around in the forums the other day I ran into some posts suggesting that figures created with GenX won't convert correctly using CC: is it perhaps something to do with that?
As background: I'm running DS 4.12.1.118 on an Asus ROG Strix with an Nvidia GTX 1050 on board. ...Any thoughts on this issue will be welcome. Thanks, all!

I specifically waited for Zev0's XTransfer, so can't help on your question.
I'd suggesting raising the issue in Riversoft's thread or by raising a ticket.
Edit:
Just checked, and as I have Gianni 7, I'll see if it works.
Edit2:
I have some conversions running atm, so may be a few.
Coppied ok, and only took about 90 seconds
Thanks, @nicstt! It's kind of you to check that. :) I'll take a run at the conversion later today. ...Meanwhile you're quite right about raising a ticket on this: I'll sort that out too.
Thanks again!
