Frustrating Coupon Request

I'd like to respectfully request that Sales situations like the attached image are avoided in the future.

My main issue is the "Get an EXTRA 20% OFF* any 4 or fewer Items when you use coupon code: 2020-FEST at checkout" combined with "40% OFF Debut New Releases 50% OFF with 2+" and "Buy any Debut New Release to get 1 Select HD Add-On FREE* PLUS 1 Select Daz Original FREE*"

It makes my brain hurt trying to figure out how to do this. Do the free items count towards the 4 or less? Do I have to make two New Release purchases? One to get the two free items and another to use the coupon? Does the coupon only work when a New Release is in the basket? If so, how many new releases need to be in the basket?

    You will likely need to send in a support ticket if you want anyone working at Daz3D to see your request.

    I thought about that, but figured it would fall on deaf ears.

    This was mostly directed to the mods who, if they think it warrants escalation, might have a better line of communication than I.

    If it happens again during this week, I will probably go ahead and open a ticket just because.

    If you want the mods to report a problem in the store please post in the sales error thread (current version is here) which is actively monitored instead of opening a new one that the mods may miss

    If you want to make sure the mods see it, look for the There's Always Another Sale thread & post there, which also has the advantage of you being able to tell if others are having the same problem or the mods have already notified Daz. 

    Also, the mods won't hesitate to tell you to open a ticket if that's the best way to go, or it is something only Customer Service can do.

    Hi there, I've brought the issue up in the Sales thread, and Cris is reporting it to DAZ. So just check the Sales thread in a little while!

    Good idea. I didn't think of that thread as I didn't consider this an actual error.

    I've used this and tried several different carts. Essentially you have to make 2 separate purchases to get the full value. It won't work if you have more than 4 items in the cart and will count the free HD/DazO. However you don't need to have a new item in the cart to use it. So if there are up to 4 artist items you want, select those at 50% off and use the coupon to get the extra 20% off. Then get a separate purchase with a new item and the free items.

    As others point out in other threads, you can use the coupon to buy a gift card. Then us the gift card to get 20% off as many things you want. Or if you grab a Wild West new release with the gift card, it knocks another 10% off the gift card.
