Can't open any previously created Daz files!

I recently upgraded my mac and had to transfer everything to the new iMac. I now have Daz running just fine, except when I want to go back into a Daz file I worked on previously, I can't open it. That's absolutely screwy. I already had to redo on scene, but obviously I don't want to have to do that every time.
Looking at the files from the Finder, the appearance looks fine, but nothing happens when double clicking on it. I can open Daz, and work in it on a new document, but am unable to open any Daz files.
HELP please!

Which version of DS? Help>About Daz Studio.
4.12.0.86
At a guess you upgraded to Catalina? If so you'll need to install the latest version of DS. Catalina broke a few things in DS and the version you have doesn't include the fixes for those problems.
You may find that you can drag a scene file into the Viewport of an open DS and have it load, but updating is the official fix. Do be aware, if you use animation, that there is a serious issue with saving scenes that can result in the loss of some keyframes - Daz is aware of the issue, and a workaround seems to be to save pose/shaping presets as well as the full scene; if you don't animate this isn't an issue, of coruse.
Thanks! I did upgrade to Catalina and thankfully I am not using animation. I will upgrade DS.
Oops - how do I upgrade DS? I looked under Preferences and DIM and am not sure where to go to upgrade?
Assuming you isntalled through Install manager or Daz Central the new version will be available when you log in. There isn't currently a stand-alone installer for Mac, so if you used that previously you will need to uninstall and install through DIM/Daz Central.
