How to make eyeballs adjust to eye morphs?

Hi, sorry for asking a fairly silly question. If I want the eyeballs of G8M (or G8F) to adjust to eye morphs (especially those morphs for distance between eyes and height of eyes), can adjusting rigging to shapes and then ERC freeze do the job? If so, can anyone please give me some tips on doing so (like whether I need to deselect certain areas when exporting the obj etc) Thank you!

  • If the eyes simply aren't following/scaling you could probably just enable hidden parameters and scale/translate them - Parameters pane option menu>Preferences>Show Hidden Properties

Hi Richard, thanks for the reply! Is there any way to avoid manually scaling/translating every time I load the morphs? Thank you very much.

Hi Richard, in addition I would like to know if the iris/cornera is distorted by the eye morphs, do I need to restart from scratch, unparent the eyeballs. And then reapply all the morphs, then scale and translate the eyeballs, and then parent the eyeballs back to the head? Thanks.
  • If parts are distorted that sounds like an issue with the morph.

You can use ERC Freeze to link the eye adjustments to the morph - but make sure that you don't use ERC Freeze on a controller that has already been frozen, without using ERC Bake first.

    Will try, thanks Richard!
