How to get rid of blue NEW on thumbnails

Does somebody know? It is a bit irritating - and I am NOT going to click on each thumbnail in my Content library to get rid of it! LOL

In the Content DB Maintenance Dialogue you should find the option >Mark all content as seen<. </p>

I usually just right click on the first directory then choose "mark all content as seen"
