I see through the LIE

So, if a LIE file doesn't automatically apply itself to the translucency color map (or any map the figure uses the LIE doesn't), is there an easier way to apply it to said map than to use the LIE editor, add a layer, then search around for the actual image file manually?
I've tried the options with CTRL clicking on the preset, but none of them seem to add it anywhere extra.
I literally see through the LIE btw without adding it to the translucency map manually.

Is this a LIE preset that is only applying to the Base color? You are right, translucency or SSS will shine through without using the same map to match. A well-done preset should have taken that into account. I can't envision a way other than your method of finding the overlay bitmap (it would be in the same folder as the original bitmap) and applying it manually.
Alright, it's what I did. Yeah it only applies to base. Could it be because the overall materials for the figure use a different (lighter colored) image for the trans map than for the base?
Thanks.
Not necessarily, the translucency just shines through. Even if the layer is pure black, if the translucency map underneath is, say, reddish, the final render will be slightly less than black, on the reddish side. The render engine adds up all the contributions for each pixel, to make a long story short. It's complicated...
Yeah I got that mostly. I just thought it might be a technical thing that since it's a different image it might glitch cause it has a different file name or something weird like that.
Thanks though :).
