Daz to C4D bridge Possible Solution For File Size
So I tried using the C4D bridge to get my Daz Character to C4D and it worked the first two times, but I realized that the file size of the FBX is too large once I sent a more customized model and it's taking forever. Originally this was supposed to be a post about asking for help but I've experimenting with solutions while I waited for a response. I'm not experienced 3D or Daz user so this might be a common sense solution, but I found a forum post on here on how to import FBXs to Mixamo and used that solution to solve the large FBX File issue. I just unparented any clothing items and converted them to props before using the DAztoC4D script and it decreased the upload time immensely. Only issue is that clothing items didn't export very well and some parts of the character's skin is exposed which I'm gonna try editing in manually in C4D. This method works for me because I'm not trying to animate my characters at the moment but it might work with animations as well. If anybody has methods that can improve my process, please let me know

There is a ton of morphs you can delete because you don't need them, that is step one (head morphs in pants mesh for example and so on).
Step two is to convert the morphs to delta morphs, that saves huge amounts of memory (and disk space), it takes some time but is worth the trouble.
This does not help with the export time of course, but it's possible to control what is exported from DAZ (load a custom filter .csv file), that will help with that.
