do I need to rebuy LAMH for my second PC

because of the complicated registration system and being locked to one PC I assume I need to buy a second copy of LAMH Salon for my second PC

just want confirmation of this

I use the free player on the second one for now but it has it's limitations for creating mesh and of course I cannot do my own presets

The full version? I don't think it's locked to one PC. I had another PC when I got it, it was able to be registered on this one with no extra hoops, just the same old go to the website and type your number.

I even had issues on the original one back in the day when I changed the way I accessed the internet but were eventually fixed after much back and forward

It should be bound to your account, not to your computer.

Otherwise you would have to re-buy this everytime you change your hardware and in my opinion this would be a red card for any product.

Well, I did register LAMH on my new build, worked without having to rebuy it. How did you try to register on your new system? Using the link in the LAMH registration window that appears when you try using it (for the 1st time on your new system)?

I will try again but yes, I have forgotten what went wrong and what message I got now exactly when I tried it last year.

Just FYI, the registration on the website asks 2 codes, the 'personal code' that you get from the window that appears in DS when you 1st use LAMH and the serial nr provided by DAZ3D. The website then gives you the activation code.

All 3 codes have to be in the activatrion window in DS before you press the 'activate' button in that window.

is still dark (5am) so not getting onto my PC for a few hours (on my ipad) but will retry later and see how I go.

hearing others can use it on two computers is reassuring though
