Trouble to save alternate UV's for Geometry Shell

Hi!
I made and load new alternate Uv Set into Genesis 8 for Geometry Shell.
With Geometry Shell selected, i go to materials and change UV Set from "Base Female" to "My new UV set".
Then i made some good materials for Geometry Shell. Save this as "Materials preset" in library, or as Properties with "Materials" tab checked.
But it seems, Uv Set settings are not saved. Because, when i then start new scene with Genesis 8, and add Geometry Shell for this - than after applying my new materials, these materials works with "Base Female" UV Set. I see, that "My new UV set" here in list, but not loaded automatically with my materials preset.
Is it possible to save materials, which will automatically work with "My new UV set" except "Base Female"? How can i do this?

  • So the UV set is saved as an asset and is available and working, it just isn't applied by the preset?

    Reading this through it would appear that you did not first save the uvset. It is very important to save the uvset before saving any mat presets that use it.

    It is also normal then to have either have to redo older mat presets that were made prior to the new uvset OR, usually simplier method, is to save out a few mat files that change ONLY the uvset.

    I tryed all of this. Anything what i do,  have the same result - materials loaded and there "Base Female" UV Set.

    Same problem still ... The geometry shell can use only that UV how it was set when it was saved as wearable or when it was loaded. It can't changeable by material preset :(

    My solution has been to save the geometry shell with the correct UVs set up as a wearable preset. Then always load that one rather than create a new one to ensure the textures work as intended.
