i have tried countless time to get my goz to work with my Zbrush. i have been doing this now for about 6 months. failed horribly over and over. i have uninstalled and reinstalled so many times i can't count them. i went through every discussion i could find and tried all of them and still no luck. so what i would like to know is how to get my models into zbrush and back without that stupid goz. thank you so much for taking the time to let me know :D

Export as OBJ, using the modo preset. Any visible items in the scene will be exported; if you are making morphs then you must hide all but one and export that (if you are making a clothing morph to fit one a figure, export both items separately).
In ZBrush export the OBJ as a tool (and if there is another item, import that as a Subtool).
Modify the mesh as desired - remember that for a morph you may not cut the mesh, add to the mesh or change the resolution.
When done, export the tool (or the subtool for the item you wish to change) as OBJ.
In DS, for a new item, just import the OBJ; for a morph select the item to morph, then go to Edit>Figure>Morph Loader Pro. Select the (in Morph Loader pro click the Choose Morph File button), choose the Modo preset again (so that the scaling is right), and for a morph that is modifying a posed or morphed item right-click next to Reverse Deformations and set it to yes (this strips out the changes made in DS, leaving only the modifications from ZBrush). Click Accept.
thank you so much for such a fast response. you are a gem. :)
Thank you.
Goz stopped working when I upgraded the latest version of Daz3d on my G5. After trouble shooting and looking for solutions, I gave up thinking that the fault probably lies in my old G5 running the lion 10.6 operating system, But I was surprised to see that Goz would not work on my new,(new to me) laptop. Even though it was a new , first time installation of Zr6 and of Daz3d 4.6 On my macbook Pro running the Maverick operating system.
Thank you for your article your explanation and instruction were clear, easy to follow and very helpful to me.
