I downloaded an HDRI from HDRIHaven but I do not know how to import it for use with DAZ. I don't have a daz equilavent and can't buy new right now.

Go to your Render Settings tab, in there pick to the Editor tab, and go to the Environment settings.
One of the first settings in the long list should be "Environment Map". Click the triangle next to that, select Browse, and load the HDRI you downloaded.
You probably want the HDRI to be visible, so make sure Environment Mode is either "Dome and Scene" or "Dome Only".
Also make sure that the "Draw Dome" setting is "On".
To make it easier to find these things (I've downloaded a lot of HDRIs from that site) create a folder in your /Runtime/Textures/ folder and copy them all in there.
Or have a seperate library like I do, and add that library to Studio.
That way, you don't need to add it to DIM (or however you install stuff); this means that there is less chance of it being accidentally lost when cleaning up the Daz installed stuff.
And when you have the Environment and Tone Mapping set the way you like it for that HDRI, save a Render Settings Preset so you can easily use it again.
Thanks all
I must be missing something here, when I do the things you all have said to do, I still cannot get the HDRI to load into the scene, nor can I get any way to import one. I can make HDRI files in Bryce 7.1 Pro, which I think should be able to be used in DAZ Studio, but they won't import, and neither will any others I grab from online 3rd party sources. I have the one HDRI called FMEE GreenHills which loads from the Smart Content pane, no trouble. It has the 3Delight version and the Iray version. My PC cannot handle Iray, so I use the 3delight version. I know that HDRI's do work for 3Delight, as this one does. Is there a way to import them into the content library?
