Moving multiple objects at the same time
Hi,
I've been using Daz 3d on and off for some time now, put I still consider myself a new user (the learning curve being so steep).
I'm trying to include a character and its accompanying props to an environment, or to add an environment to the said character and props.
The problem I have is to position the character (Kassandra with her cat sitting on a fence with a camera properly positioned >and some lighting that I don't mind losing< ) within the "King's Pass".
I tried adding the environment into my Kassandra scene, but I can't find a way to select all (and only) the elements I want to move to position them into the "pass" nor select the elements of the environment to move them around Kassandra and her things.
I also tried it the other way around, creating a scene with only the King's pass in it and adding the Kassandra elements, saved as a 'Scene subset'.
Different approach, same problem.
Is there a way to do that?

In case you don't know, you can hold ALT while dragging an item from Smart Content or your Content Library to place it within the scene. Since the scene's already set up, though, the easiest way to approach this would be to group all the King's Pass items and move the entire group around, or vice versa if you find it easier to move the other scene items. Select the items you want grouped, and then either click on the hexagonal button to the right of Create New Primitive (it's actually a cube with only the corners showing), or go to the Create menu and select new group. That will group all the items you currently have selected.
Thank you so much.
I was selecting multiple objects didn't know how to group them.
Problem solved.
I have another one though, but that will be for another post.
If you have multiple items selected in scene tab, and you have a move tool selected, then you can make sure 'secondary nodes' is checked under the Tool Options tab and it should allow you to move them all at the same time.
