Feet fix?

I used a pair of shoes (they have exteme bend) and decided I didn't like the way they looked so I went to zero pose my character and her feet will not reset to zero. I can manually reset them to zero (each time I change) but the minute I clear the pose she now goes back to the bent feet...any suggestions?

    select 'currently used' in both your parameters tab and your posing tab when your figure is zeroed, and see what's active.

    you might also want to turn 'show hidden' on in the pane options.  it's possible that you've got a JCM or some other hidden morph that's acting up.

    good luck!

  • Thanks! I will give that a try and report back lol

  • That did it! You would think I would remember that as GM8 charecter that always loads with another created character morph I have to manually fix every time I use him lol

    To fix any ill-behaving morphs, do as follows;

    1. Load your base figure or the developer version. ("Genesis 8 Basic Male/Female" or "Genesis 8 Male/Female Dev Load")
    2. Select the figure
    3. Select "Show Hidden properties" in the Parameters-Tab, drop down menu (right-click)
    4. Zero the figure (Found in Parameters-Tab, drop down menu)
    5. Memorize the figure (Found in Parameters-Tab, drop down menu)
    6. File->Save As->Support Asset->Save Modified Assets

    This procedure will zero the default value in the ill-behaving morph/morphs, and while saving DS also shows you a list of the morphs it is changing.

    This may be quite useful in such cases too: https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-zero

  • There is a freebie on Deviant Art that resets various body parts https://www.deviantart.com/spyrorue/art/G8F-Reset-Poses-700458001
