Genesis hair on Gen4 figures?

Is it possible to use Genesis hair on like m4 or v4? Or will it not work at all? Would I be able to fit it?
I have MorCloth which I hear can be used to fix hairs but idk.
I mean if I tried to conform genesis hair to m4 is it going to break and go in weird places?

    You couldn't conform it, but you could position and parent it.
