A new Anubis character for Genesis 8 Males, This set comes with a fully canine look, complete with body fur and a tail. Also included are Material presets to convert this character to either a Stone or a Gold statue. Plus, as a bonus there is also a coyote and fox variation, complete with custom ear morphs to give this set alot of versatility. So many of your canine heroes can come to life!

This set comes with custom crafted high definition Anubis morphs, and unique Highly detailed textures, which can look good on their own, or with the dForce fur that also comes with them.

    Wow Anubis got buffed. Almost all G8M fantasy characters for sale are really buffed.  Is it because buffed characters are popular or that it is easier dialing down G8M than up (personally I haven't had much success dialing muscle down of the few G8M I bought)?

    in my case....I simply love muscle :)

    also...he is a god, so godlike musculature makes sense to me

    Very nice fur - my instinct is to use the traditional black, but the "fox" option might be better in darker lighting - but I have a non-Egyptian setting in mind, so might be rather perfect, hehehe.

    I've been waiting for a product like this, but quick question about the tail: Is it similar to the OsoDreamer Feline Folk tails(shown as the white tail in the attached image) or the Wolfie Tail(shown as the grey tail in the image)?

    yeah...black fur in the dark is tough to light up nicely...good to have options

    Sorry I'm not fully awake yet and didn't phrase the question any sort of correct way for what I meant lol.

    Does the tail attach smoothly to the figure like the Feline Folk tail or with a rectangular base like the Wolfie tail does?

    There is a long hair and short hair version of this tail. Both options are available......I cannot comment on any likeness to the oso tails. These are my own.

    cross posted...so I will edit this post.....the tails are geografts, which means they attach directly on the figure for a smooth blending

    Why is Anubis in a high heels pose? Can that be changed or is it "stuck" that way? Anubis statues I am familiar with are definitely flat footed.

    Because this is designed to have a more canine look, and as such has Digitigrade legs.

    Not a complaint, but on the product page it states that he is compatible with both Genesis 8 and Genesis 8.1, but his fur only seems to work on a Genesis 8 figure. So I was wondering if there is any way to make the fur play nice with a Genesis 8.1 figure?

    I am not sure why they changed to listing to read 8.1...the fur will only work on G8....I will message daz

    It's not a problem, he works great in Genesis 8 and most, if not all, of the assets I could imagine combining with him work with G8 as well. I just usually try to work with G8.1 so all my characters use the same base-figure, that's all. No biggie! wink
