Could someone please explain to me how those 15 items listed (plus or minus a few) equates to the "hundreds of related items" that the banner advertises? Am I the only one who finds this misleading?

Yes, this. The Freebies from December 2013 were all made by PA's and were released only for a limited time (a day or two I think). We have slowly been re-releasing them throughout the year. This isn't the first one we've re-released and it won't be the last.

Could you clarify how that qualifies them as a "new" release? It becomes a significant issue when the sale requires the purchase of multiple items to qualify for additional discounts.

This particular one happens to get under my skin because I feel that it's misleading, and false advertisement, which makes everything that much more difficult to understand! Further more, while you may find one of ten insignificant, the subset of folks being negatively impacted (choices limited, maybe I just don't LIKE the other items) are longtime repeat customers.
The tone of this whole place has changed, responses from administration such as yourself has become clipped and unfriendly. The attitude and morale seems lacking, ans it shows. Maybe managment should send you all on a retreat or aomething...
The PA Christmas giveaway is run by the PAs themselves, not DAZ 3D. There were several PAS who very generously gave away a full product for a very limited time (1 or 2 days I believe) and did state that at some time it would be released as a new store product. This was spelled out in the PA Christmas giveaway thread.

Second, if you don't like the product offerings from today then please don't purchase them. The last thing we want is people purchasing products they don't want (that's why we have a 30 day return policy).
Having said that the product offerings for today are very strong, which is why we felt that the majority of customers would be able to find at least 2 new products that they wanted. Even if one of the items was given away as a freebie.
If you can't find 2 items then this aspect of the sale isn't going to be for you. But, the good news is that there will be more promotions in the future. Hopefully some of them will appeal to you.

Thanks for the reply. I thought maybe it was a 'partial mistake' like the fruits vs vegetables link the other day. I obviously don't remember the circumstances under which I got the poses before. If I tried to remember the details around every purchase I make here I"d go insane. :)

I'm also missing their old Forums. They had a wonderful Quality and I'm a fan of Aeon Soul items since the beginning of my DAZ and poser time.
Does anyone know why the price difference on the DO products? when I have only 3 items in my cart, 2 DO and aeon's item, the price seems right. 50% OFF the DO's. plus our 30% PC discount. But when I add another item to the mix, Aeon's item should drop to 45% off along with the new sale item, but the DO items should not be affected. Yet they are. as you can see they go from $11.89 and $14.88 to $12.06 and $15.09. Why the increase?
