How does one reinstrall all of the applications and content on a New Mac? When I tried to use Daz Central I got a prompt that it can't be installed because Apple can't check it for Malware.

If you got to System Preferences> Security, is there a button that allows you to overide the warning and install?

There is a supposed workaround where a user can disable Gatekeeper on a per application basis @ https://osxdaily.com/2015/07/15/add-remove-gatekeeper-app-command-line-mac-os-x/ instead of generally relaxing security as described @ https://osxdaily.com/2016/09/27/allow-apps-from-anywhere-macos-gatekeeper/ but I do not currently have access to a machine to verify its validity.

BTW, I was able to find the work around. It operartes a bit different than the previous system.

Maybe check the log to see if there's an error message?

Make sure that DAZ & DIM both have full disk access in catalina's security prefs

For once I'm kinda glad my iMac is too old for the more recent macOS.
