Virtually non-existant. The whole Wild West ensembles we just saw? No gun belts. Seriously? Spies. No holsters. I think the G3M law enforcement utility belt has one, but it's usefullness is a little limited.
Several female figures have them, but in general they don't fit well on men. Usually they are too far down, or they are just too silly and baroque to be really usable.

AGREED! I had to take this one from the Luthbel desperado package into 3DSMax to make one that fit my needs and it was a pain re-modeling it ands then re-rigging it. We have so many gun packages, but so little holster sets for them

I tried transfering that to g8 and even with the rigging adjusted, it warps horribly with any kind of action pose. Not to mention, the gun isn't even removable which makes things even more complicated.
I agree 100 %. How can you have a cowboy without a holster, I hope Daz listens this time and makes some nice Holsters.

...kind of similar situation for swords as well. have several different Katanas and Wakazashi, a few which have Sayas (sheaths), but no way a character to wear them.
The correct way to attach it to the body is above the iliac crest of the pelvic bone at the high point (the left, in your model, and exactly as it's shown in the live action Netflix shot). Think about it. If it falls to your ankles because you took two steps, it's too low. Remember, the type of pistols shown in the posts above weigh, more or less, two pounds (or .9 kg if you're into that sort of thing...). The more bullets you store in the belt, the heavier the whole thing is and the harder it is to fight gravity. Not to mention that that much weight needs heavier-grade leather to support it so the belt doesn't disintegrate, further increasing the rig's overall weight. The larger the angle of the main belt's z rotation (assuming zero degrees = parallel to the horizon), the longer the distance between the left and right points of contact at the hips. I hope I don't have to describe exactly how that means there's a bigger hole for the legs to slip through as they move. But it does.
In other words, the belt needs to rest on the support of the pelvic bone. Too high, and you have all of that weight crushing the soft tissue against that same bone, and that's not good either.
And that brings up another point about the OP. Absolutely true: there aren't nearly enough holsters on the market. And most of the old-west ones that are available are too flimsy and/or improperly seated on the body. (And to be honest, the ones we're offered fit the females even less well because of all of that.) Ok for cartoony renders I guess, but I like the kind you can't tell apart from Netflix stills :)
