Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering if there's anywhere to get the Daz Michael 2 football uniform? Years ago, when I first started doing 3D art (probably 2005 or 2006) after I bought Poser 5 on ebay, one of my first purchases was the Daz football uniform for Michael 2. I remember I was so new to the whole 3D thing and I had a million questions I was constantly asking in the forums.
Since that time, there have been several other football uniforms from other vendors, for Michael 3 and Michael 4, and I believe some for Genesis as well, although I use mainly Poser, and not Daz Studio. But no matter what, the one for Michael 2 was by far, the best one that I've used. Lots of morphs, material zones for logos, colors, etc. It was a great product, and something I'd still use today if I had it. Over the years, and several computer crashes, I've lost the orignal files for it, and I can't seem to find them anywhere. They're not in my product library under my account here at Daz.... Maybe the archives don't go back that far or something, but I've even had some folks at Daz try to look that far back and locate it, with no success. The product is no longer available thru the site store, as most things with a figure as old as Michael 2 have fallen to the wayside. Does anyone know anywhere at all I might find this product? I'd gladly pay a fair price for it. any help in this quest is always greatly appreciated.

I could get the uniform to work for Michel, but I could not get Michael 2's Hip Geometry (hidden property) to change and his genitals aren't seperate from his body for the surfaces tab.
In the Install Manager he is called Michael 2.0 (from 2010)

That's the one, Marc. I know it's no longer available thru the store, but it was a very nice product... it just so happens to fit on a figure that is far outdated. There's got to be a place or a person somewhere who has it, and as I said I'd gladly pay a fair price for it. I mean, I'm certainly not going to do anything against the rules, but the thing has got to exist somewhere... I'm sure it wasn't just erased from existence

yes she is, DAZ scanned her for a gen4 character
It's still residing in my product library here and the download still works. Maybe get in contact with Suport to figure out where yours disappeared to?

The Product name is Michael Football Gear. Its Product ID is 863, which I suppose is called the SKU now.
I install everything via DIM. The DIM installed mine to
/runtime / libraries / character / Michael's Clothing
So you could check to see if you got it from Daz and if so it might be in your DIM, even if you don't normally use DIM.

Geometry switching - it should show in the parameters pane, as far as I remember.
Yes it does (twice). Using differennt combos I can make the whole body disappear, but not just the gens. It's been years since I used this feature, but it doesn't seem to work any more.
They both have the same options: Default Shape and Genitals Off. The only thing that has an effect is if the top is defaul and the bottom is Gen Off, that makes the figure disappear.
If you reverse that the figure flickers but doesn't seem to do anything.

Did you have the hip selected or the whole figure?
Whole figure, but let me look....solved. Turn off genitals off with the hips selected, then hide the genitals and turn the other genitals off with the full body dselected. You finally get the smoothed hip.
yes in Carrara I need the hip selected, took me ages to figure out how Poser Geometry switching worked
I do recall it took a couple steps in D|S sometimes too.
And back then they had a phone number and if you called you could get live tech support!
