Top Identification

Does anybody have any idea what the top is in this promo?

I'm thinking it's a male top converted to G8F, but it's lovely and I love the floof of the sleeves and everything about it. I also wouldn't mind knowing the origin of the pants too!.

There's an outfit for G3M called something like Modern Romance that I thought might be it, but for some reason I can't find it in the store to verify.
edit: I was thinking of Contemporary Romeo, which is actually for G8M, and it's not the one you're looking for.
Yeah, I have that and though it's nice, it's not what I'm looking for. This shirt is perfect and I hope I can find it!
Is it possible it is another case of RareStone using an outfit created just for a promo shot, like has been done for their characters? I have that pose set and looked at the other outfits and don't think I have seen them in any other release by RareStone or anyone else. I can't speak for Renderosity or other sites. Barely know the first one, have no knowledge of others.
The thing that keeps coming back in my head is I could have sworn I've seen those cuffs before.
It looks very similar to one used for the Young Minto promos (which I believe is their own creation and not available). That might be the one you're thinking of.
Haha, I just noticed that Young Minto comes with a Nintendo DS!
I went into the store, tried searching by 'romantic outfits' and found Lady Worthington, the shirt is close but not quite there. There is also Sir Worthington.
But I am with you on thinking I have seen this shirt, but I went through my runtime by files for all generations I could not see it. Contemporary Romeo and Doomed Poet. Neither match the neck.
So that page says she comes with her outfits...but she doesn't come with that one? Because that is the shirt I think.
This question got asked a few times.

I've had both Lady and Sir Worthington on my wishlist for a while...I can't justify the price for G2 outfits (I only use G8 and have not had the best of luck converting G2 to G8 out side of dresses). I'll grab them at some point when they show up at New Years or something like that for a deep discount.
It's still never been answered, lol. It's kind of sad that it's featured in a promo for a character that comes with clothing...but apprently not *that* particular clothing. Why have it in the promo then? If the promo is meant to advertise the character and the clothing she comes with, it just...doesn't feel right. I would have absolutely bought that character just for that one shirt.
Maybe there is a chance, since RareStone is doing other things besides just characters. The PA seems to vary their store a bit. No clue if they read the forums. I am with you on wanting to buy many of the outfits in that pose set and other products used in other promos.
Well, my opinion is that I like to see promos that feature clothing other than just what is being sold, because it gives me a feeling for how well it plays with other clothes. For instance, if there's a shirt for sale and in the promos it shows various pants and skirts paired with it, then I get a better feel for the kinds of morphs availble and how I can kit-bash it into something specific to my needs.
It's just my opinion, though, and the real answer as to why vendors do this is probably more to the effect that they just want pretty pictures to sell products. I know I would.
Edited to say that I didn't intend to contradict you, I think it's lame to "feature" other clothing while not disclosing that plainly, I'm just spitballing on why it happens. I agree with your point, however.
Yeah, my big beef is that it says "Minto comes with her outfits." Well, no...she really doesn't. She comes with x, y, z, but not e...which really should have been specified. As I said above, I would have bought Minto just for that one shirt. Oh well. :(
