  • I get what you are saying, Richard.  My philosophy on the models I create (rooms and other environments) has changed.  I am now thinking in terms of small vignettes instead of doing complete rooms with all the details. This creates less overhead in the render and greatly shortens the time spent creating the model.

    I remember the SoundBlaster32 cards, where you could add memory yourself.wink
