No Shaping controls in Daz Studio?
![Elgyfu](https://farnsworth-prod.uc.r.appspot.com/forums/uploads/userpics/666/n2A3A1C4F86F9.jpg)
Following a hard drive replacement I have been reinstalling all my Daz Studio content using the installer.
The content shows properly in the Smart Content tab, but there is nothing at all showing in the Shaping tab.
If I load a preset "figure", for example the Gorilla, then Genesis changes properly, and the Gorilla slider is now available in the Shaping tab. But just the one slider.
I have reinstalled my various shaping packages, such as the ethnicity sets, and the V4, M4 ones etc. But still nothing is showing.
I have tried reimporting the meta-data.
Any ideas, please?

Please post a screenshot of the Shaping pane. Is the problem also in the Parameters pane?
Attached is screen shot of Shaping pane and Parameters pane, with Genesis selected.
OK, are you sure the morphs were installed to a folder that is set as a DAZ Studio Content directory in DS? Can you find them in the Content Library as well as in Smart Content?
Mine is the exact same way. I have uninstalled and then installed to no avail. Still nothing inside the shaping tab.
Can you post these 2 screenshots:
1) In DS, Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the "DAZ Studio Formats" and "Poser Formats"
2) In DIM, on Ready to Install tab check the "Show Details" box in the lower right
I have fussed with these. I'm sure I've missed something.
You need to have the "Public Documents" location listed under DAZ Studio Formats in DS also.
Ok, that did something. But now, how do I put my old presets from my previous install (had to wipe the drive and reinstall everything, but saved the presets), in where they need to be to be recognized and to show up with rest of the resets. (shaping etc.)
That worked for some presets. How do I add the old ones saved to my backup? Or should I say, where?
You should be able to put presets anywhere you like in the DAZ Studio Format folders except under Data or Runtime, such as under Characters or under People.
Better and better. I have them in a folder under DAZ 3D under Documents, (as they were in the past), but its not finding them. What am I doing wrong yet? By the way, thank you!!
essentially, That would be the same as this example, and is listed that way in the pref. But its not finding 'em. What lack I yet?
Do you see them in the Content Library > DAZ Studio Formats > My Library?
Ah!! I see! Then just categorize them back over with the lil' drop menu under the right click... right?
Yes, exactly
