Hi I want to filter smart content by specific figure.
So, if I select a genesis 8 then poses I want to see only poses for g8, not michael brute valentine and so on, as they are simply duplicates which do nothing but clutter the view. I don't need 4 copies of the same item!
Is this even possible?
Thanks

Thats almost what I'm looking for thanks. Unfortunately its missing Genesis 8 as a filter. It only has the various figures so theoretically it does the exact opposite to what I'm looking for. I say theoretically because in pratice it simply doesn't work. I selected Michael 8 and still see all stuff for both Genesis 8 and The Brute 8. Thanks anyways.
Most such pose sets do include poses for the base, in my experience, but I don't think they are tagged in a way that would support what you want (Michael 8 isn't a figure, it's a character for a figure). It might be possible to use a script, or a Bollean operation on multiple filter terms, to exclude those with another character name in the title (but then you wold exclude those with psoes for the base and the character).
hmm, this is sort of related to a question I have had.
---
Is there nothing in a clothes file that indicates what generation it's from?
---
I have done thousands of renders and fit clothes on to thousands of characters.

"What character was this item designed for?"
The item you import to put on a character doesn't know? How does Daz know how to list an item in people>gen or people gen2 male, etc.
---
not only what figure .. but whether it's pants or shirt or hair?
It knows from the metadata in the Content Managment System.
