Okay, since Khemsit is still all messed up for me, this is Khemsit morph with Twosret textures.
So, is she the first core character ever from the Arab world? (Unless you count Twosret, who reads more as "ethnically ambiguous" to me.) It took long enough! In any case, she's beautiful. But I'm even more excited about a potential handsome male counterpart!
(Don't love the "handmaiden" marketing, when everybody else is a queen, adventurer, hero, etc... oh well.)
On a different note, I get the impression that we're moving away from add-on characters. I'm all for it! I'm often frustrated with add-on characters that require a base that I'm just not interested in.
Khemsit definitely reads as Arab to me, despite the ancient Egyptian theme...which means she looks more like a modern Egyptian.
I like her, and I don't buy a lot of females. I didn't care for Twosret.

I'm getting download failed on this model. The rest of the order downloaded just fine.
Well, so far I'm dissapointed. The eye makeuo and lipstick load together (I pulled a different lip color from files), no fibermesh brows and as usual, I had to make the eyelashes longer with other PA morphs. But what really surprised me was that the Nirv hair looks nothing like the promos! Instead of a morph for length, there are style morphs and just combining the morph for curliness with a style morph that makes it longer, it gets all jaggedy! I haven't tried a smoothing modifier yet, but this looks like really old hair! Going to play with everything more to see if I can make things look decent, but I'm not happy with it so far.
Well, Khemsit finally installed properly after I installed Ahmunet as well. Maybe that was the trick, I don't know.
Skin looks good for Khemsit. Slightly pale torso etc compared to head, limbs... like you can imagine her being "modest"/covered up in a sunny environment. (i.e. not tanlines per se, but just less tanned torso region.)
No hairy anatomical region in the lower torso element. Not at all as bumpy/razor burned as Twosret in that region.

Khemsit (my twisted mind keeps thinking Kermit since I cannot seem to remember how to spell it) is pretty. Her face is softer than Twosret's, who looks more regal in my opinion. If one doesn't want to think of her as a handmaiden I think Khemsit could be Twosret's younger sister or niece.
I haven't been interested in the Egyptian bundles, but CAIRO-GIFTS gave me some great deals. Used it twice, and now my gift card balance is all gone and I need a gift card sale. :-(
I got Khemsit down to $23. But I can't get her to download through DIM. :(
Plus, there are updates for the Mummified Outfit, and the Papyrus outfit, and they won't install either :/
Well, it looks like smoothing was turned off by default on the hair. When I turned it on, it looked better right away. At first I thought I could only get the hair to look decent when flipped back because it’s so jaggy when forward but now with the smoothing modifier on, it may be OK. Its not great, no where near what I thouight it would be, sill can't get it to look like the promos.. And that model used that everyone is asking about was so adorable, I think she’d make any hair look good!
I think she has personality, can take expressions well. Not a supermodel but an attractive regular woman.
Oh, forgot to mention that It weaked the shaders on her teeth a bit and did some basic contrast adjustment in PS
I don't know why I'm so obsessed with expressions, especially smiles, but I could do them all day! Managed a different hairstyle but still not in love with the hair.All in all I like Twosret better.

Last one. I used different lighting and I think her skin looks better here, But she's no longer smiling.

She's got a really unique morph, and she seems to take expressions pretty well.

I don't think I've ever been able to render a more realistic looking figure before. Wow, Khemsit is stunning. This is with the dForce Desert Queen hair.

Edit: the much maligned Daz Connect worked.
I can't get her to download in DIM either. Nor the Mummy outfit update. The Bast Hair and outfir bungle does not install right, either. The hair winds up in the losy and found. Even then, it is jumbled.
I just downloaded and installed her manually.
UPDATE
I just tried to install the Mummy Outfit update to no avail. I then tried again with Khemsit. There was a slowdown in the middle of the download and then it was ok. She installed.
