Bundles Getting More Expensive?

Is it just me, or are the DAZ character bundles getting more expensive? For example, the relatively recent Honni 8 Pro Bundle's full price is $134.95. But the much more recent Twosret 8 Living Pharoah Living Bundle clocks in at $195.95. Is this a trend, or is it the theming of the bundles?
Comments
discounted it's still the old price: 37.50 for the bundle itself.
it's even cheaper now, after we are getting 20 bucks back, if we a few addons.
therefore we are getting no longer free daz originals, but after I've most interesting, that's fine for me
I think I already posted once that I do also have the impression. Although one can get a good price thorugh the different sales and coupons I did a comparison of an older pro bundle and a recent themed bundle. With the older bundles the discount for being part of the bundle was higher whereas with recent bundles that discount was not that high leading to an overall higher base price (many of the recent once are more 200$ish than 150$ish like the older ones).
I'm noticing a shift from the old Pro/Starter bundles to more heavily themed bundles with an addon bundle. Sukai, Twosret, and others have been going this way, likely because Daz is trying to change things up and find what customers want since they seem bored with the old bundling.
With the new bundles which includes older stuff and a follow up bundle with more character content the store seems to be seeking profit off of these new releases.
I think everything's gotten more expensive and therefore I've been buying less.
I hadn't noticed any old stuff in Sukai, Twosret, or Khemsit?
No, but look at the male releases.
I've passed on several of the latest bundles, as the deals have still ended up as significantly more expensive in my cart.
The thing about bundles is that I might use maybe a third of what's in the bundle with any frequency. And the addons haven't been wowing me lately either. Mind you, the bundles did interest me, but my Daz budget is limited, so I have to draw the line somewhere.
It helps that older content will fill the bill for me in a lot of cases, so I don't have a pressing need for the latest bundles. Again, there's stuff in there I wouldn't mind having, but I'm patient, I can wait to grab those things via some awesome coupon discount or something in future sales... It just doesn't make sense to pay 'new' prices for something I don't need right this second.
I do feel like we were getting much better deals in past Genesis 8 sales, until recently at least, and that the $20 credit thing is paltry by comparison. Some people didn't like the 'buy one bundle, get three more thing', and I have most of the bundles now, except recent Genesis 8 ones of course, but value wise yeah my Daz dollars stretched a lot further. Even the $15-30 in each category thing was a much better deal than just $20 in store credit.
Plus prices have been creeping up on individual items.
So essentially the Daz sales team has been making it easier for me to spend less each week in the Daz store. Just sayin... the main thing I agonize over ATM is using those two PC+ coupons every month, so that they don't go to waste at least.
The Fermion Race Car Bundle is a PC+ mini themed bundle and I got it for $9.09 which is a great price I think. They've had multiple themed PC+ bundles in the past year at great less than $20 prices. I don't remember exactly when they started those themed PC+ bundles but they certainly are worth the price. If you remember they have a Go-Kart theme, a modern housing theme, and that's all I can remember off the the top of my head.
we're getting reaching Turbosquid prices soon or very soon.
The prices with the discounts are the same as they've been for the past couple of years that I've been buying bundles, it averages out to be about 66 bucks for the bundle with the banner and three add-ons, the 20 bucks back is nice. Personally I don't like these extremely focused themed bundles though, I like ones that have a nice mixture that you can kitbash the heck out of but maybe I'm in the minority there.
The bundles don't seem more expensive. I like that the deals now include store credit and nice discounts on newer items as well with coupon codes.
i gonna say i complete agree about "getting more expensive just look at those 2 exemples:
https://www.daz3d.com/holt-8-wild-west-bundle
https://www.daz3d.com/twosret-8-pharaoh-living-bundle
both at full price are 195,95
but the "first one have much more stuffs even if some are "old", it still have more stuff but both are same price
even this one which is full of new stuff still 5 less price than the tworsret
https://www.daz3d.com/sukai-8-superhero-bundle
Another exemple
https://www.daz3d.com/villain-horde-bundle
this one have "less stuffs" than regular pro bundles, like normally a 8 pro bundle come with 11 stuffs(4 outfits, 2 hairs, 2, poses, 3 characters), while the non pro bundle are coming with 3 outfits, 1 hair then 3 to 4 characters 2 poses and or "textures for outfits, or "acessories, or props, or "animations", "more" but for much more high price
here another exemple:
https://www.daz3d.com/weird-west-bundle
it's basically come with 11 stuffs like a pro bundle but is 5 buckets more expensive and it's come with:
1 outfit, 1 texture for the outfit, 2 acessories, 1 hair and beard, 4 characters( 1 is a monster and another come with a beard and hair), weapons props and one pose)
another exemple:
https://www.daz3d.com/Kwan-8-trooper-bundle
it's come with 9 stuffs and again same "price" as a 8 pro bundle which come with 11 stuffs
then some peoples say, but the "promo" will reduce the "price" yeah but "after the promo end" for the "later peopels" which can't buy during the release and need to buy it later, it will be a lot "expensive compared with others bundles", the prices seens to be a lot random(above what they should be supposedly), with some bundles with less stuffs being more expensive and some products with the same number stuffs again being more "expensive", for me the worst without any doubts is:
https://www.daz3d.com/twosret-8-pharaoh-living-bundle, just compare her with this one with is 4 buckets more expensive than her:
https://www.daz3d.com/return-to-treasure-island-bundle
it's come with "much more stuffs" but for much less even if te bundle come with some stuffs from others packs or old stuffs, she still a lot expensive even compared with others bundles which comes with "new stuffs" and in the same number as her, she is just too expensive, again take the "base price" because after the "sales ends it is the price you must take in account not just the "sales"., which is a temporary price.
even this "bundle which have some stuffs from kayo pro bundle still "have more stuff and is just 5 buckets more expensive than twosret
https://www.daz3d.com/alien-vs-troopers-bundle
i do honest feel daz is "stealth" increasing the "price of the stuffs" since they feel which the old "pro bundle model" is no more "profitable" as it used to be and they are "using some" themed stuff tests to try to "rise the price" of new stuffs, making at "long term" they being "more expensive than the old model of pro bundles, also are "making some sort of "nerf in the bundles, by placing "less outfits and hairs" in favor of more "random stuffs, like props and animations and even "textures", instead of taking things like poses, like a single "pose stuffs with expressions would be enough than 1 pose and 1 pose with expressions, they way they are working on the stuffs by removing from hairs and speciall outfits(even removing 2) is bad for me.
edit: i've even forget to talk about :
https://www.daz3d.com/khemsit-8-ancient-egyptian-handmaiden-bundle
she is basically a very expensive pro bundle" when you looks to her " full price", 179,95, and she have 3 outfits, 4 characters, 1 hair, 2 poses and one animation., you are paying 43 buckets more to have 1 less outfit 1 less hair and 1 more character and 1 animation, it's insane the "price".
I feel that folks are having to part with more cash.
Getting store credit back the following day is cheeky. Can't even play with the items now, but have to wait (although how many acutally do play with all their new items is open to question). Those that don't use store credit, well they have to physically pay more cash.
More and more, I feel like the only way to go is to wait for top-notch sales. Like the Platinum Sales to grab stuff like this.
I realise the cost of living is going up and DAZ and PA's also need to eat
there is also a much bigger volume of stuff being released
I am also saving money too as I pretty much cannot afford all the stuff
This is how I look at it. The cash back the next day still equates to more money out of my pocket.
There is a very long way to go before reaching this level.
Compared to Unreal Engine Marketplace and TurboSquid, Daz 3D Shop is cheap.
I have less of a problem with increasing prices. I have a problem with decreasing quality. On some of the more recent new products, QA has been hiding under a stone. Lowering quality while increasing prices is a no-go. Missing meta data is one thing, having only half of the textures is another. E.g. on date of release, the majority of "Honni 8" files showed up in lost&found. On some new releases, still SmartContent metadata and/or files are missing, after two weeks and a couple of tickets.
to be fair "unreal market" have support to "local currence" and different ways to pay, you can pay upo to 12x and use your local currence which already a lot of help.
Another good point to unreal market is which the "stuffs", meshes and characters are "optmized for unreal" unlike daz which most of the stuffs are made for offline render and many of they stuffs only work inside daz, like the dforce and rigid nodes,, the meshes stuffs you buy in unreal market will proper work on maya or blender or others places, this make up for the "high price" and they time to time are giving "free stuffs", every month you get free market stuffs, not only "cheap" even high priced stuffs can go free and sometimes they have "good sales" like going up to 80 or 90% discount, ofcourse daz sales still more common and better but unreal market is very attractive and i would place it almost on daz level of prices, my big complain for daz is not have "conversion to local currence as unreal have and not support others ways to pay like unreal and in unreal you don't have to "pay 2 times"(normal price plus license) to have full usage ownership of the stuffs, once you pay the standart price the stuff is yours to work on unreal or even others places(as long it is not a epic original stuff, epic original stuffs can only be used on epic programs), anything else you can buy in epic store then use in let's say maya or unity.
