High Heel Help?

While I'm not new to Daz, I am new to the forum and (admittedly) it's a bit of a noob question/issue:

I have a bunch of different G8F high heel shoes that have their own foot pose. When I use poses like Zeddicus' Curve Model, the foot pose values add to the existing pose. Did I miss something in 101? Help is appreciated!

As it is, I always have to tweak the foot pose and figure Y position.

I tried zeroing the foot pose and then applying a high-heeled figure pose, as expected there's pokethrough because the toes and metatarsals aren't in the right pose.

I usually just reapply the foot pose.

Same. But I always have to adjust the foot pose and the figure's Y translation because the shoes aren't contacting the floor in a believable way. Thanks anyway.

this is normal when using a pose other than what comes with the heels.

Yeah, I suppose it is a bit much to ask for Daz to auto-adjust the "in-heels" poses. Someday, maybe!

As an old scholl modeler, I am always amazed that all the mesh in a scene behaves as well as it does in DS already. Imagine trying to set up a scene from scratch in a modeling app like Maya or C4D where you have no fit to option or autofit, it's a nightmare.

You're absolutely right, that's why I don't pursue this hobby using 3dsmax anymore. It's reserved for good ol' flying logos and other, from-scratch projects.
