Can I use G8 poses on G3 characters ?

    Yes, although you'll often have to adjust for the different starting poses. For example, this pose looks just fine:

    But on this one, the arms are way out of position:

    People have written scripts to adjust Genesis 8 poses for Genesis 3.

    Actually, a really good and helpful tool that happens to include pose adjustment for G3 pose used on G8, and G8 pose used on G3 is Pose Mixer: https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-pose-mixer

    It also lets you do partial locking of limbs etc. so you can apply several poses over each other without much fussing. I use it daily, it's very convinient and has a low learning curve.
