It's explained (sort of) in the ReadMe here: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/70569/start - under "Additional Details". I have not tried that hair yet (I bought it yeasterday actually) but I've heard of other hairs having a sort of face mask to keep the hair off the face when running the simulation - this may be something of that sort.

The Repel figure is an invisible mesh that is used as a shield during simulation, to avoid the hair falling in the eyes.

So in most simulations I imagined you want that kind of shielding.

However if you want the hair falling in the face on purpose you can delete the Repel.

But in most cases the Repel will come in handy. :)

Hmm.  Can you use it with other hair products?  Asking for a friend.

    Heya Sevrin,

    Good question!

That actually might work in some cases, it depends a bit on the shape of the other hair, if it’s high enough so the repel doesn’t intersect with the other hair.

So I would suggest to just try it out. :)
