Partial dForce?

Is it possible to simulate parts of a dForce item? I this case, one sleeve of a dForce coat?

Or does it have to be the whole item?

    Create -> New dForce Modifier Weight Node. Select the weight node, then open your Tool Settings and select Node Weight Map Brush (you can also hit ALT+Shift+W to switch to that tool). You should see "dForce Simulation: Influence Weights" in the dropdown menu for unused maps. Click Add Map, then select that. The entire item should now turn red in your viewport. Now to do the actual painting. Depending on your needs, there are two ways to approach this: the first is to remove the weights from the parts you don't want dForced by holding the ALT key while "painting" with your mouse until the weight turns from red to blue or disappears entirely. Since you're looking to do just one sleeve, the easier option in this case is to right-click in the viewport, go to Geometry Selection -> Select All, then right-click again, Weight Editing -> Fill Selected with 0%, then paint the weight back onto the sleeve WITHOUT holding the ALT key.
