Poser 8 library problem

Been away from Poser for a while because real life just doesn't allow time but fired up Poser 8 today for a quick job (Yea 8 is the latest version I have, I told you it's been a while.) When I did the content library window did not display content, it was white and when the curser moved over it it showed the spinning circle like it was looking but never found anything. I run Windows 7 Pro. All runtime directories are in the same old place. I have looked for information on this problem and found the only reference to P8 is a flash problem, uninstalled flash and installed latest version with no help. Any advise on how I can fix this.

Do you have ie 11 on your system?
Also have you run the P8 SR updates http://poser.smithmicro.com/poser8updates.html
There are threads on this in the Poser forum

Thanks I will check on SR updates. I am running IE 11, don't use it so I guess I should just uninstall if that is the problem. Or do I need IE just an older version?
You can use the MS fix to not only remove it, but also to stop it being automatically updated again.

Still no luck, I've done the following,
Installed current version of Flash
Ran the SR Update for P8
Stopped auto up date of IE 11
Turned off IE 11
Still doing the same thing.
Maybe reinstall Poser 8? It doesn't affect your runtimes if you reinstall
