sorry, gotta share this!! This is a true story.

    Night Before event:
I had a dream vision which began as me chasing after two friends through a meadow which then turned into a graveyard. Noticed they had run far ahead and were leaving me behind. Called out to them not to leave me alone, but they were gone. Next I saw a stump of a tree with only the large starts of branches but no branching. And, then I was falling down the side of a very high cliff bouncing off trees as I fell. And, I awoke.

    Day of the Event:
It was a beautiful summer day and I had gone to buy groceries. I had my head buried deep in the trunk of the car as I was arranging the groceries so that I could get them all in. JUST as I had stepped back a surprise gust of wind "slammed" the car trunk closed. The corner caught my glasses and knocked them to the ground leaving me with a scratch on my nose. But, I was fine except that now every once in awhile you will catch me checking the winds when I am loading the trunk.

Metaphysically, later, what I figured out from this was that this had been an exit point which I could have taken for my lifetime. But, when I saw that my Tree of Life had no branches and that I had not lived a full life, apparently I chose to remain which was represented by the long fall back to earth. And I, therefore, survived the freak gust of wind accident.

My moral from this story. Do not fear death. Fear the life unlived.

So my image was based, in part, upon this freak accident.

And it's on to Round Three!

    The pull:
1746 - Meet Me At Sundown
    1908 - Mobility Aids
    1282 - Curbside Cuties
    1594 - Pyrit Hair

Well, it appears the Gods of Random approve of the theme; the Mobility Aids definitely implies some kind of 'freak accident'. Now I just have to come up with something suitably debilitating...!

Why. Why. WHY??? do I do this to myself? I'm so bad at balancing things -- literally and metaphorically -- so when real life pops up annoyingly, I wander away from my computer for weeks... and then find myself 6 pages behind in the RRRR thread with my first pull half-done. Okay. Re-focus. Render. Review. I'm on it. I will not be battling an exploding toilet moments before the midnight deadline this time!

...been that way for me since January.

...and now that I have no net access from home (for the last two weeks) makes it harder to stay caught up on things let alone upload pics. I still have some 200 or so emails to slog through.

Playing catch-up on the thread again. Need to sit down and get to rendering as soon as I figure out what to do with my pull...

Totte #5: Nice water effects there.
Barbult #1: Somehow what really cracks me up is the woman's face; something about it just screams "snide aristocrat", so the look of horror on there is great.
Sasje #3: Can't go wrong with classic Stoogism.
Luci45 #5: I like the classical drawing effect on this one. I could imagine it as a temple fresco somewhere.
Obanion #1 & #2: Glad to see you found some time. Couple of nice images here.
Zawarkal #1: Trippy. But that's Wonderland for you. :)

    OK, pull #2 for me...

Hover Speed Bike (old DAZ Freebie Archive)
Surf's Up for G2M (I think this is part of the G2M Starter Essentials; not sure)
Anna for V4 (by Lillyanna-Windmane, from DeviantArt)
    Bell Earrings (RDNA)

    Hmm...

    Also Used:
    Victoria 4
    Ultimate Shader Pack
    NoX Hair
    V4 Basicwear
    Genesis 2 Male
    Darc
    Disconsolation
    Mike's Tiki Bar
    Echoes of Andromeda (for ocean)
Pizzeria Italia (stone shaders used on Tikis)

Tiff wondered just what sort of watercraft the hapless idiot was driving. She wondered how he'd managed to jump it all the way up onto the pier. But mostly she wondered if she had time to get her camera before he got his head out of the tiki mask.

    And pull #3 for me...

    Rogue Red http://www.daz3d.com/rogue-red-for-stephanie-3-0-petite
    Little Dragon Stockings for A3
    Updo 2.0 http://www.daz3d.com/updo-hairstyle-2-0
    Fae Angels http://www.daz3d.com/fae-angels

Hmm. Nothing that immediately suggests an idea, and it involves clothing for three distinct characters. This might be a tricky one.

    Alien Dancers

One night a small alien craft crashed in a field where show girl and sorcerous Tippi Times and her manager Dirk Delvin were preparing for her next show. Being good Samaritans as well as seeing a business opportunity, they took them in, rescuing them from the government alien chasers. They used a lot of makeup and pink lighting to disguise their skin tones, but, as Dirk's new right-hand-man Morg always said, "Boss, I don't think it's quite right yet."

    Sorcerous Round
    Waiting in Line Too
    Roaring Twenties
    G4 and F4 for Genesis
Point of Impact (lucky bastard item)

    Mildred
    K4 Football Uniforms
    Victoria Sports Action Poses
    Carrie Dress

They look like they belong together

    @Totte
My formula for fart renders is hydrogen sulfide maybe as a mercaptan for flavor
and a little chlorine for color
    then let the characters react

Wow. Well. I DID ask for a challenge...

    Title: Bird Strike
The tragic collision between geese and rocketeer eventually led to stricter laws protecting air space over enchanted ruins and forests.

*gasp* Omg, that was a lot of work... Also used an ancient Canadian Goose texture (for Noggin's Goose) by Gany78, which you apparently cannot purchase anymore.

    Title: Don't Dive and Drive
Jenny was so excited to go to her first snorkeling lesson at the indoor pool, that she suited up in her diving gear before jumping in the jeep. Unable to find the brake with flippers on, and unable to see well with the mask on, she careened right through the pool house door. The sudden impact with the pool ladder threw her right over the jeep hood and into the pool.

    Pull #2
5516 Props Pack - Morphing Cliff, Traveler, I'd guess, though it's so old there's not even a readme in the zip!), DNA
2594 Fantasy Wishing Well (Dreamcatcher), DAZ
330 Amzaric Hair V4-A4-G4 (nikisatez), RR
2648 Feodora for Genesis (3DSublimeProductions), DAZ
1104 Center of Gravity Poses (Design Anvil), DAZ
    5737 Reflections Furniture (LaurieS), DAZ

Well, (pun intended) it looks like my Gen2M is going to need those Center of Gravity poses, lest he fall into a well or over a cliff. This looks very promising. For me -- not for Feodora or Gen2M. They're pretty much doomed...

    Thanks, Morgan R. Lewis.
Hi, Ken OBanion, I 'm glad you got a chance to get a few renders in.
#1 - I"m guessing the poor girl was attempting to manifest something a bit larger? I love her expression and pose.
#2 - Now, there is a freak accident - anything that puts a future ex-husband in one's path.
Zawarkal #1 - Another amazing and horrendous render! Your story in the following post was pretty awesome too. I love the intensity of both of them.
Morgan R. Lewis #2 Nice accident! I love her smile and pose.
KaribousBoutique #1 I love this one!!! Just an amazing render, brilliantly put together. Ad what an accident!
barbult #2 Hehe, this is great...
gopherus, I hope you get one done before the deadline. Nice of you to post your fart formula... ;-)

I am having a terrible time dreaming up accidents that are funny and not terribly tragic. I went to this website - http://www.darwinawards.com/darwin/ - for inspiration but didn't find anything that really inspired me, render-wise. There are some insanely idiotic things here and I highly recommend it for anyone who is amused by this kind of creative stupidity, and resulting "accidents."

My last pull, which I may not get done:
    Victorian Nurse
    The Streets Of Asia 2
    Platea
    Henley House - Poser
    Hipster

An opportunity to make a mess out of Stonemason's most beautiful set. Hmmm, but should I?

    Title: Competition

Times are tough living in a human settlement, isolated from your own kind. Having a keen interest in a craft, sadly, isn’t always socially acceptable by some of these mortals. One competitor has increasingly become hostile, not just in attitude and petty gossip, but in his advertisement. What few customers I’ve had left from his tireless competitive streak, have all been scared off. And now he’s insulting my people! I reported this to the guard, but like all my previous efforts, they just side with him. He, after all, has all the coin. So, with that, I packed up my stall and gathered what little possessions I had at home and set off for a realm that welcomes fair trade.

I can neither confirm, nor deny the possible cannon discharge at the market place. I am, however, aware that there were no injuries, and that the investigation yielded no more than hearsay from Master Mole, without supporting witnesses, not to mention his now limited budget.

This is a Daz Studio render, rendered in multiple layers, combining Volume with depth masks. Post work in Photoshop. Render time was as long as watching The hobbit 2 and The Fellowship of the Ring (extended) so, many hours LOL

luci45 #5 - Very nice render and it really looks like a painting from the time. And as a side note, the name Orumet med me crack up because in Swedish it sounded like when in grade school and we had a teacher in Swedish (who was Finnish) and she didn’t speak very well and when the term started she had a dictation test but my class including me was full of smart-asses so we on purpose spelled the words exactly as she said them, not as they were supposed to be spelled.

obanion #01 - Lol, an Obannion render, always with so many twists that you need to look for.

obanion #02 - Haha - Minority Reportish errors, interesting, like it.

zawarkal #01 - Yes, another of your dreamish compositions. To paraphrase Mr Obanion, where can I get some?

MorganRLewis #2 - Haha, weird indeed, nice one!

luci45 #6 - Very nice colors and look, awesome work as usual.

KaribousBoutique #1 - Wow, well worth waiting for, but where is the toilet?

barbult #2 - Classic barbultish render, looking grays and with fun details.

SpyroRue #1 - Really superb render and things really went freaky there!

Luke thought is was meant to calm them down, when he saw one of the old statues suddenly make a move....

"Where can I get some" implies you are on some kind of hallucinogenic drug that causes you to generate such wild and exotic dream sequences. The person asking the question wants to experience that, too, hence he asks where he can get that drug. :)

    ahhh, okay :)

just high on life and that keeps the drugs priced at free!!

side note: I actually do not take any pills of any type, should I have a headache which might be once in 10 months then I will take a baby aspirin but nothing more

and believe me my dreams are all wild and exotic... have been for many years... it's like watching movies most times, very rarely are they about me

I must start by saying that if OSHA ever found this thread, there would be more fines than one could count! (Where is the appropriate personal protective equipment? Lockout/Tagout protocols? Floatation devices? Signage?!!)

Anyway, while waiting for my render to complete, I've gotten caught up on my comments!

Diomede #1 -- Oh dear. Nothing like falling trolls to ruin a day on the lake...
emsim #1 -- Wow, fantastic use of broken glass! Maybe not so good for Sophie, but it looks good!
luci45#1 -- *I* can explain the cosmic goop ball... because, you know, I have twins and they generate the prerequisite mass of goop to eventually cause it to coalesce due to gravity. Excellent use of the goop shaders!
Sasje#1 -- The expression on that dragon is priceless!
HastyDave #1 -- LOL! Toilet jokes! Now THAT would be a terrible toilet accident...! Fantastic creativity there.
Totte #1 -- I kinda want to see them crash into that awesome billboard. Is tht wrong?? I'm also mildly disturbed by the (?) stockings (?!) on the construction guy...
luci45#2 -- This struck a little close to home, lol -- I have a "ends-in-0" birthday next week, so I can see the appeal in trying to erase the ravages of age. The transformation of Gregor from Old guy to child is fantastic!
MelanieL#1 -- You have absoulutely nailed the feeling of motion in this! Poor guy. Pretty sure he doesn't get paid enough to deal with that.
luci45#3 -- I giggle every time I see the big guy pointing at the muscle anatomy painting. The technical quality of this render is also amazing, by the way!
MorganRLewis #1 -- Vanquisher of Porcelain, lol. Now where was HE when my toilet exploded? Too funny.
Sasje#2 -- My cat has almost killed me on more than one occasion in a similar fashion!
Totte #2 -- That may be the best use of Modern Ruins ever. It's hilarious AND an amazing render! *applause!*
Totte#3 -- Ha!! That's fantastic! Her expression is absolutely PERFECT. Nice, er, gas effects!
HastyDave #2 --I love it! Fantastic addition of pickles, lol.
Totte#4 -- There is so much going on in this picture! Your attention to detail is very impressive. And the upside-down mammoth makes me giggle every time I look at it!
luci45#4 -- Oh, wow. What a lovely, fitting tribute. Perfect in every way.
emsim #2 -- That doorway prop is one of my favorite items in my entire runtime for the reason you've illustrated here: it can open up into ANYWHERE. What a great story. Though, again, maybe not for Sophie...
Totte#5 -- Where do you keep finding all those amazing ideas?! The scene looks real enough that I almost feel sorry for her!
barbult #1 -- If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask for... a bowl of punch?? (If you don't get the cookie reference, it's a children's book I've had to read out loud several million times.) And, I think maybe Boris has been punched one too many times in the head!
Sasje#3 -- OUCH! I think he's going to need an ice pack very soon!!
Luci45#5 -- I MUST master the laugh/sneer/glower before I die. You've captured the body language there perfectly! Even before I read the caption, I was CERTAIN I was looking at a man being glared down for his idiocy.
obanion#01 -- Lol!! My students were always muddling the metric system, too...
obanion#02 -- Ah, romance... well, almost. Tee-hee! Great details, by the way!
zawarkal #01 -- You have such wonderfully surreal work! I'm a great fan of the Cheshire Cat, so I give this one an A+!
MorganRLewis #2 -- And THAT'S why phone cameras are so awesome. We never miss capturing idiocy while it happens anymore!
luci45#6 -- Only in the RRRR universe do besieged aliens become dancing girls... Gotta love it!
barbult #2 -- I particularly enjoy how the random mirror so perfectly captures the hapless diver and Jeep! And, well, at least she's got her diving gear on already!
SpyroRue#1 -- That is a FANTASTIC scene!! The text on your signs is hilarious! And I love the missing teeth on your fallen blacksmith. Lol.
Totte #6 -- The title made me laugh right off the bat. That Attic Panic would definitely have me in a panic attack! This kinda reminds me of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe... except on drugs. Lol!!

OK, three days to catch up on... (Which is strange, because I don't remember being gone that long...)

Luci45 #6: Nicely done bringing an interesting mix of items together. The round makes a good stage.
KaribousBoutique #1: It certainly looks like it was a lot of work! Came out very well though.
barbult #2: That's going to be one painful belly-flop. Nice touch with the wrecked ladder.
SpyroRue #1: That's an impressive length of render time... worth it, though, as the image looks great.
Totte #6: Wasps, witch, knights... well, at least some of these problems ought to solve each other. :)

Luci45 & Totte: Thanks for the comments on my image!
KaribousBoutique: You know, I didn't even think of cell phones. Guess that comes from not carrying one regularly.
