Blender export : problems

I update with the new Blender addon. Here are problems
1) Export addon break the DAZ scene
2) Still changing the Clip end value: 20m
3) Imported camera lens false (for example 65mm in DAZ, 50mm in Blender)
And there is something really stupid in the Blender Bridge ! Why set the exported character to A pose !!!! This is the most idiot thing I ever see. Why ? because if there are clothes on the character you loose the cloth draping is dependant on the actual pose in DAZ and not the A pose imported !
To be short this Blender bridge is unusable !
Comments
Please report these as possible bugs - with rather more detail on how the scenes are breaking for 1).
Cloth sim in Blender is actually rather quite easy, more so than dForce I've found.
Where to report ? When we report bugs DAZ answer they dont have time to fix them LOL
DAZ has its own way to work. Very fast. Exporting to Blender allows to work with a better ligthing, a richer environment and a great render engine compared to the poor DAZ shading.
So I try to simulate DAZ clothes in Blender. CRAZY result !
It could work only if your character was in pose A and cloth in zero pos.
In that case what is the benefit to work in DAZ ? None !
The DAZ bridge must allow to
1) get the whole scene without adding bones and armature on characters and create shaders in Blender.
2) export camera settings and lighting (if possible)
3) put the whole imported objects in a Collection (named for example DAZ Import)
4) optionaly for people doing animation the DAZ bridge may export characters with armatures and bones.
Edit: no need to export with subdivision. Blender subdivide much better than DAZ. And there is also the adaptive subdivision in Blender now.
