New * again * to Daz Studio and need help with the Installation
I used to use Daz Studio all the time , I had Daz Studio 3 Pro and I love it, when it got updated to Version 4 I could not get the hang of it.
I want to give it another try though I do love my Poser Pro 2014, but although Genesis works in Poser , it takes ages for things to load.
When I want to download the Daz Studio 4.6 Pro I have the option to download it and install it myself or via the Install Manager.
I have problems , the Install Manager tells me that the account is not the right one yet will install Daz studio for me.
Once it is installed I am lost as to where find things.
I have installed all Genesis things that I bought in its own runtime with the data , People folder and all the Studio things , can I copy this and put it in the * My Librarie * folder?
I am confused with the Install Manager.

You don't have to copy this - you open Dazstudio and use the Content Directory manager to tell DS where your Content/runtime is:

I am not sure where that is within DS.
I am so new to it, I worked with version 3 pro for AGES and I feel so lost.
Ehm ... did you take a look?
Under the title DAZ Studio 4.x there is a how to get there:
First, open the 'Content Directory Manager' dialogue. There are a few ways to do this in Studio. You can find the 'Content Library Pane' and right-click on the open the to 'Content Directory Manager' by going to EDIT (or DAZStudio on the Mac) --> Preferences --> Content Library --> Content Directory Manager...
I am sorry, I was so nervous that I did not even see the link at first.
Yes, I had a look and I shall do this.
Thank you so much for your help:)

If the top level folder is a runtime folder then your products are not going to work properly. Be sure that they are in a DAZ Studio library set up. Your old my library, the newer My DAZ 3D Library or what ever.. But that needs to be the top level with data (especially), people, etc. just inside that.
Don't be nervous - DazStudio doesn't bite. :)
