Strange issue saving .duf files. Losing settings

I'm working on a series of image for a comic layout.

I have a base image with all the assets. I pose that then save each frame as a subset 1.duf, 2.duf and so on.

When I open them in the machines I render on the dimensions are altered and the saved environment background is always gone.

I have set with an image as bacground and the original size of 800 x 600 yet when I open on render machines the size has changed to 600x600.

What a PAIN in the.....!

The name of the file refuses to appear in the top-left header?

This means I have to load each separatly, reset the correct size and environment. It make batch rendering impossible because it always loads the wrong way.

How do I fix this bug?

Rather than using the environment background, try a plane made to the 800 x 600 "ratio" - put the image on that. Save it as a prop. Then it can be saved as part of the scene files.

Go to Edit>Preferences>Scene and check the tickboxes, especially the bottom pair. These determine whether Render Settings are recorded or not in a saved scene, and whether they're obeyed or ignored in a loaded scene.

Also, does the saved background file exist in exactly the same place on your rendering machine as it does on your setup machine? This file is not included in the saved scene, a setting in the scene points to where the file is stored.

As for the file name... that's the name of the current scene. If you're saving as a scene subset, that isn't a scene, so the name is not displayed. Come to think of it, this ties in with the preferences thing; these settings only apply to saved scenes, not saved scene subsets.
