Soooo many new Ps files to install...

in The Commons
As of yesterday, I now have ~240 new files that DIM wants to install, all with Ps at the end. These came out of nowhere, and I can't figure out how to make them go away. I've had Poser deselected in DIM settings, and I just added Photoshop and refreshed, but they're still there. I'm less interested in why there than how to make them go away. It amounts to GBs of data.

I had the same issue. If you go to Advanced and check your download filters, there seems to be two new options - "DAZ Connect" Installed and Available, both optons are auto-checked and I don't think they weren't there previously. Anyway, FWIW, I unchecked these two options and the new PS files disappeared from the download list.
Careful, somtimes the products have only the "Connect Available" tag, and nothing else, so if you want products for DAZ Studio4.5+ , you need it checked. Similarly, if the Ps file is tagged with DAZ Studio 4.5+, you might need it. Older Poser formats usually had a Poser version with geometry and all texture maps, and a Studio Companion File that had DAZ Studio compatible material settings, but no geometry nor bitmaps. Others had a Ps version and an independent DS version, so you would not need the Ps version. Check each one to see what works, what doesn't. Once you've decided, you can hide packages in DIM.
Ok, I guess I'm wondering why they just appeared out of the blue? Day before yesterday, nothing; yesterday, 240 entries?
OK, that did it, thanks.
I'll keep an eye out for weird older stuff with missing textures and such...

Yes, the Connect flagsa re long-standing. Daz is aware of the issue with soem files suddenly appearing in DIM, it should be temporary I believe.
I had a lot of those as well yesterday and the day before yesterday. Many of these files also had the word "legacy" at the end.
I'm just making an assumption here, but I figured that Daz might've put someone on "library fixing" duty, to fix installation files that missed parts, or add smart content information for even older stuff that was previously categorized as poser-only but which should work in Daz anyway. Or something like that.
