Hi,
pardon, what's going on with DIM?
As I opened it, I was asked to install so called "Default Install Sets". - What the heck is going on?
I have my well organized sets of paths for the product library and for the program components necessary for DAZ. All on my individual HDDs.
Any qualified information?

Daz added that screen for newbies who often don't know what components to install for each of the programs.
You can ignore it if your programs are already installed.
And if you deselect that "Show Automatically" box at the bottom it should not trouble you again!
OK, thank you.
But couldn't DAZ suppress this dialog, if everything is already propperly installed?
DIM checks a lot before it starts. So it also detects the existing installation. As I understood, this special dialog only is necessary for a new nativ firsttime installation.
You'd think. But there seem to be more and more examples of DAZ adding things that are aimed at newbies and only annoy the old-timers.
If everything is isntalled and up-to-date the message will not appear. Don't forget that there are multiple support resources and plug-ins in the install set, not just the application itself.
But Richard,
everything listed in this message box is installed.
So I only can agree to the statement of Melanie.
Including the tutorials and such?
