Yet another broken sale?

Looks like the 80% off All V4/M4 sale is already borked. Nothing was working a few minutes ago and now the page at http://www.daz3d.com/pc-m4-v4-party is empty.

    I think the whole store is down. All categories empty.

    These are not normal shop lifters. I thought normal shop lifters would just steal the little stuff, not the complete stock.

    They were all working earlier... This is stupid, what the hell? The sales were already all uploaded today, so there's no reason for everything to be down.

    Now I'm worried. What if this is long term and all the data has been lost? Whatr if the category and fast grab pages are lost forever?! And we'll end up with a mess worse than Renderosity?!?!?

    I just wanted to see this new figure Lee .. I can see nada! Oh well .. It's a sign that I need to save my money for August 1, lol. Hope it's fixed soon.

    Is the M4/V4 PA sale just the same stuff that was on sale for over a month until a week ago? What a ripoff...
    That's a huge letdown, the promo makes it sound like all M4 and V4 products apply save new releases, when in fact it's just the same items from the Summer Sale, which were all available without spending money on a new release for a whole month...

    Do you guys think you could change the promo to be more honest, so that it says "select V4 & M4" products instead? Because that's what it normally says.

    Actually, in investigating it, I think it _IS_ all the V4 and M4 items that are DAZ Originals. They only have just under a thousand items that are specifically V4/M4, apparently, going by the store-wide search features.

    While 'select' would be generically right, I think specifying that it's all M4/V4 items that are DAZ Originals would be more accurate. But that's often 'understood' with their sales, and called out separately when PAs are included.

    I agree. I was so excited when it said "all" because there were several v4/m4 items (especially m4) that never made it into the 80% off summer sale so I was hoping I could grab them now. But it looks like it's the same items (actually even less). "All" means all - there are no varying degrees of all-ness. You can specify "all" of one category, but if you don't then the word is completely inclusive. It either needs to be honored or removed.

    The verbiage in the ad has been changed to "select". I'd guess that someone in legal finally had to explain the actual meaning of the word "all" to marketing.

    And that, needless to say, makes this "big sale" a completely laughable non-event, since it seems to be the exact same stuff that's been on sale at the same price to everybody for nearly two months. What's next DAZ? A special "All PC products only $1.99!" sale to celebrate the end of the PC+?

    LOL. Actually as long as it is all rather than select that could save us $1 on some items (i.e.the $2.99 ones which seem to count as PC items these days))

    Actually, if you look closely at the wishlist and cart, any PC items in there aren't marked as that — it just says "special price", just like it says for the standard intro discount, PC discount, sale discount, fast grab discount, etc. Another lack of clarity brought to us by the shiny new store, unlike the old store, it can't distinguish between those categories, everything is just "special". :-/

    Some of the items are stacking. For instance Predatron's stuff is 40/50% off in the and a few of his items appear in 80% off sale. Similarly Neftis' store is 50% off and a few of their items are in the 80% off sale. Stacked together the hairs are coming in around $1. Wildmane hairstyle is showing as $1.25 in my cart, down from $6.28. List $17.95.

    Fast grab was really broken yesterday. Aiden, the friendly face of fast grab, was gone! In his place were ogres and monsters. I ask you, is that any way to start your day?

    Since this stuff has been on sale for so long lately, I don't guess it matters much; BUT it hasn't even been at 80% off most of the weekend. Only the PC 30% off for DAZ Originals is showing up.
