Problem Installing Genesis Charcaters

He's the problem I'm having, and I'm not sure if anyone else has had this before. But when I try to install a character (say Victoria 5), I get a popup that says "'such-and-such program' has a dependency on another product and the required field(s) could not be found in the chosen location. Please choose another location".

Problem is that when I try to find another location, I keep on getting the same message. I'm not sure if it's because Genesis installed improperly (which it didn't to my knowledge), of it it's something else.

Any solutions?

What is the full path Genesis is installed to (which I assume is the same path you're trying to install the characters to)?

Doesn't want to say in the warning, but it's the "My DAZ Library" folder in my Documents (where all of my models are). And before you ask, it doesn't show up in the "Choose New Directory" option at all.

Select the other option to browse to the directory.

Can you select the other option to browse to the directory?

If you're meaning a mapped directory, then nothing shows up at all. If you're meaning that I manually choose a new folder for the file, then it gives me the same result I was talking about in the first post.

In fact the only mapped directory that shows up is the "C:\Users\Owner\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library" path. And that's where the popup comes up in.

    Is the exact path to Genesis.dsf “C:\Users\Owner\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base”?

    I R Confuse.

How are you installing the products? With DIM, or by manually unzipping and copying the files?

If you are doing the install manually - you do NOT want the 'content' directory; you want everything UNDER the content directory copied to your 'My Library' directory.
