Shopping Cart error

I'm trying to add an item to my cart. I clicked Add to Cart but it didn't appear. When I clicked it again I got the following message:

"The maximum quantity allowed for purchase is 1."

But the cart is still empty.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Log out and in again, then add a second item to the cart, and the first will appear as well, then you can remove the second item.

Thanks, it worked this time. I thought I'd already tried that!

Having a problem with this now. The Shopping Cart shows no items and using previous method doesn't work. The items that there but aren't now give me the error message, The maximum quantity allowed for purchase is 1. How can I clear the Shopping Cart if nothing shows up?

The second item you add needs to be a different one from the first one, just not the same.

I tried that. Still doesn't display missing item.

Never heard of that before. If logging out and clearing browser cache doesn't help, I'd suggest trying another browser to see if it helps, as it avoids any caching problems. That said the store has some hickups since few days (again), the "my wishlist (xx)" button shows wrong numbers for me, either those are pure fantasy or they're from another account again (like it used to do when store software was new). When I go to wishlist page then everything is fine again, I think it is correct when connection switches to ssl encrypted (https).

And there is another problem for some days now: I can rarely open any forum threads when I'm not logged into DAZ site. I almost always get the damned cloudflare error then, but have no problems opening the same threads when being logged into the site.

I just added the missing items from the product pages and they show up. Doesn't work adding from the Wishlist!!

I think the issue comes from the Wishlist and the Add To Cart button(s) there. According to the Wishlist page, the items are in the Shopping Cart even if they aren't.

Recently the wishlist was changed so that anything moved from the wishlist to the cart stayed in the wishlist until it was bought. This caused a variety of weird bugs, which tech support assured us have now been fixed. This turns out not to be the case (I'm still having a few wishlist oddities happen that I'm just about on the point of opening another support ticket about).

Also, if attempting to move from wishlist to cart, make sure qty of item in the wishlist is set to 1. If you add an item multiple times to your wishlist, the qty keeps increasing for some odd reason. This could be causing the error, as the wishlist is attempting to push >1 of that item into your cart.

The wishlist and cart don't show the quantity field any more. This is one of the changes I mentioned, and as I also mentioned, it needs a bit more work — the problem I'm trying to nail down seems to be that if you bounce something from wishlist to cart and back, random items work, but random other items toss up the "more than 1" error when you move from wishlist to cart, even though the item isn't in the cart any more. As soon as I nail down some definite pattern (if there is one) to this, I'll raise a support ticket.
