So I have a strange sounding question. What I need to do is to render cloths from front facing camera. What I do not want in the render are the parts of cloths which would have been hidden from the view if the character/object wearing them was visible.
So imagine a render with a boy wearing a shirt. Now somehow in your imagination, remove/erase the boy from the render. Now the render will look like as if some completely invisible but light-blocking thing is wearing the shirt. How do I achieve such a effect.
In other words, how to make a figure completely invisible but still block the view/background in renders. Please reply.

maybe apply a white shader to all its surfaces and use white BG
or Black to all its surfaces and black BG
I can see point have done so to create a mask to wear my DAZ clothes in photos
Thanks for your fast reply.
Your suggestion is great and it works fine in most cases. However when the cloth is semi-transparent (as in lace or something) this causes problems as white color spills from the semi-transparent cloth parts. And sometimes cloths is pure white/black itself, which again leads to problem.
well in that case you may need to do two renders one with clothing itself white and figure and BG black and use that as an alpha/opacity mask on a layer in GIMP or photoshop etc or pick a colour not in scene as your alpha channel
I wish if something to this effect was possible using some render setting / shader, as I do not want this effect for a single render. Actually a multitude of renders for a project.
Is there any way to tell the renderer to display only those pixels in the final render that belong to a specific object (cloth), of course after calculating which pixels of it should be visible at all.
I am on my iPad right now, so I can't check DAZ Studio, but look in the render settings and see if there is an option to render or not render back facing polygons. Poser has this feature, but I'm not sure about DAZ Studio. I think this might be your solution, but it's only a guess. Good luck, though!
