Saving content and files for reinstall of OS

Hi team, I'm going to be reinstalling my Mac Mojave OS as it's not performing very well and I think it's got clogged up with various spurious bugs. I have a lot of purchased and created content that I want to save though, Anyone know how I can save all of these to put back into DAZ3D after install? I am assuming it may be that I need to back up all of my Daz folders on a seperate drive and paste back into My DAZ 3D Library after completion...? Or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

Basically, yes.

If you have created custom metadata for smart content you would need to export those and reimport them after reinstall too.
