Annoying Y Rotate Pose Problem
Every now and then I find that a figure pose will not rotate around the Y axis on the spot. Instead the figure spins round the scene in a huge circle. This is really annoying. How do I change this? I have tried to edit the Y Rotate parameters but nothing I change seems to make the figure rotate on the spot. Why do PA's release poses that rotate in huge circles? What use is this to anyone? I tried searching for an answer but the forum search engine is so limited I found it impossible to figure out what words to use in the search to bring up relevant results. How do I edit a pose so that the figure rotates on the spot along the Y axis? I want to use this pose and have the figure facing a particular direction but the figure rotates in a huge circle instead of on the spot.
The pose in question is from Late Night Diner Poses. I've tried rotating the figure from the hip but it just tilts over unnaturally so that isn't a solution. The figure isn't parented to anything either. Usually I just avoid using poses by PA's that have this problem but this time I'm determined to find a solution.

Some poses move the figure by the hip bone rather than translating via the root node. In cases like this, I tend to zero the hip first before making any further translations or rotations.
Actual poses should always move the figure by the hip bone, that leaves the root node free for locating the figure in the scene. It sounds as if the pose is moving the figure way off centre - possibly it's a placement pose, for locating the character in the scene, rather than a regular pose in which case it should be using the root node.
