Cannot see any daz studio products under new user account

I just did a full reinstall of windows 8.1 64 bit. installed daz under administrator account. created a new standard user account. all my other programs were visible under the new user account except for daz3D. I was however able to find daz3d by navigating to its install folder using the file explorer and then pin the .exe shortcut to the taskbar. however none of my products (which are installed and visible under administrator) are visible under the standard user account even though I can see them in the file explorer.

any ideas why this is so and how to fix it?

    Did you install the content using the DAZ Install Manager? if so it should be accessible, in the My DAZ 3D Library in your Public Documents folder. Is the My DAZ 3D Content folder showing under DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats in the Content Library pane? If not, right-click on DAZ Studio Formats, select Add Base Directory, and select the My DAZ 3d Library folder; repear with Poser Formats, selecting Add Runtime Directory from the menu and again adding My DAZ 3D Library.

    I would suggest that you try running Daz in compatability mode for an earlier version of Windows, and/or with Admin rights. Right-click the Daz executable and, in Properties, experiment with the compatibility settings.

    Is your content installed in the Public area (the DIM default) or in the Documents folder of the Administrator account?

    recently did a complete reinstall of my entire system. everything working fine now. thanks anyway.
