Hi everyone I seem to be having issues with my crocodile walk cycle as some of you know I've been making my own Dinosaur movie and been doing lots of animation for it I mastered the walk cycles of the Dinosaurs ages ago and flown through all that.
I'm now trying to animate the Croc (super croc Deinosuchus) his legs aren't like the normal legs I'm used to animating, as the croc's legs stretch out more, I've been watching some demonstrations of crocodile videos on youtube but been trying to animate what I've seen but not got the hang of it. Has anybody animated a croc before if so could they tell me best way of doing it.
Chears, Ian. :)

Not sure how helpful this may be, but there are two great crocodile movies that have decent digital effects for crocodiles. The first is Primeval, and the second is Rogue. I do know that Primeval had a Making of on the DVD, and they show the process of animation and the troubles they encountered. May be helpful to watch.
On Rogue, they do speak a little about the making of on the DVD, and I do know in Australia they released a Making of that went into far more detail (but was released only on the Australian Version of the DVD, not international copies).
Hope they help
Regards
