Power Pixies Popping up Pecular ...damn, no other P words... my Power Pixies doesn't work.

'ello again,

Seems like all I do is come here with problems, not at all how me and the group wanted to spend our time on Daz...but I'm trying to show them that everything is a learning experience.
That being said, can someone please help with the Power Pixies. I purchased and installed it via download manager, and it no work.
The attached screenshot really says it all...

Power pixies don't show up in the Smart Content, but when dragged into a scene (or even imported, tried both methods), that really helpful dialog box popped up.

So, as always, please and thank you.

As you may or may not be aware, I'm the parent of an autistic teenager and I've been using Daz to work with some of the other autistic teens in our community group. Daz was nice enough to donate a gift card for us (boy they spent the hell out of that).

Thought perhaps more introductions were in order besides me whining for help.

Thanks!

Jim

That's because the item you are trying to load is a pose - either a figure pose or a material setting, trying to set things back to their default state - DS is asking which figure it should apply the pose to, but in this case you should just cancel.

You want the "Power Pixie PP" file for DAZ Studio, though I suspect you will find not all morphs work equally well (that has certainly been true for other characters like this in the past, I haven't checked any of them recently).

There is an option in Edit>Preferences>Content Library to show file extensions - if you use the product list it's probably worth turning that on so you can see the difference between "things" (.cr2, .hr2 and .pp2), settings for things (.fc2, .hd2 and .pz2) and sceen settings (.cm2 and .lt2, cameras and lights respectively though they are rarely if ever useful in DS).

Thanks a bunch, pointed me in the right direction. For some reason, the actual .obj file doesn't show up anywhere in the product listing section for Power Pixies, but when I finally found the obj file, a simple import and it was good as gold.

    Thanks a bunch!

The OBJ isn't a figure, though - the CR2 file loads the OBJ and applies rigging to it.
