LOL watched 5secs
I cannot stand that guy
he does a lot of Twinmotion tutorials I cannot watch either
you beat me; i managed about 3.
LOL, yesterday I watched Blender tutorials from a guy who was so congested he could hardly breathe (and got about a dozen things wrong in his tutorial), and one from a hardcore Call of Duty player (that should have been my first clue that I was in for something) where I just gave up before he even got to the point about anything he was talking about.
Sometimes it's better just to read the manual.
edit: I managed 16 seconds of that video, but wanted to turn it off after the first 3.
Hmmm, that speaker in the tutorial seemed very mild and mellow voiced to me. The tutorial didn't explain a lot but there wasn't much to explain though either.
He was kinda repetitive, said the same exact thing twice in a row a lot lol
its the loud boisterous in your face personality, same reason I couldn't stand Steve Irwin may he rest in peace.
I found him less annoying than the Blender Guru, but he does take way too long to get to the real content.
Apart from the few seconds of his intro and his silly hat, I found him easy to listen to. I also find Blender Guru easy to follow (fortunately because I've watched hours and hours of his videos). The one's I have a problem with are those who find it necessary to shout at me or those who talk like hip-hop artists. What happened to BBC English?
The Blender Guru's voice sounds WAY over processed to me and it grates on my eardrums. The frequency rattles in my head too much.
this weird sense of entitlement to non-annoying youtube videos is actually more annoying than anything else.
we are allowed to be annoyed
if you enjoy them and that style of exuberance watch them by all means, as I said, I could not watch his Twinmotion tutorials either and had to find stuff out other ways
I did look up other easier digestable information on Blendit BTW
I prefer Quixel Mixer free using Unreal Engine myself if I wish to do that but still thanks for sharing (info on the plugin not the video)
and don't click the link in my sigline either as I don't want to be held responsible for you being traumatised by mine
never said i liked them.
99.9% of youtubers are annoying but at some point you just have to man up and watch them
lol no I don't
i dont make the rules
I make the beer.
That plugin does look pretty amazing though, and it's 6 pounds? Definitely something to keep an eye on.
I can show you how to make something like that for free. Will take me a bit to put up the tutorial, will add screenshots and stuff.
Old method isn't working anymore @.@
... and to find someone annoying in a funny hat to narrate it for you
Back to the original subject though - I can see the need for something like this but the video was not impressive - I don't like the way the texture stretches but I can't imagine how to avoid that. However, there is a need to disguise those razor-sharp interesctions and, so far, I've just relied on the blur brush in post. A similar (if not better) utility would be welcome for DAZ Studio.
